As food supplies run low and resentment toward the refugees intensifies, Todoroki and Kanae—members of the refugee group—volunteer to venture outside to scavenge for provisions. Elsewhere, the group posing as a family—Komoto, Shoko, Shori, and Yuzuki—face expulsion after their deception is exposed following an incident. To make matters worse, Yuzuki is caught in an accident and left covered in blood. Will they be able to save Yuzuki’s life and remain at the shelter?
