The Daily Show

Season 31 Episode 113: October 7, 2026 - Sebastian Stan

Michael Kosta surveys the latest threats to humanity, from sinkholes swallowing cars and contaminated frozen food to a possible plague outbreak in Russia. If Trump’s increasingly colorful scientific commentary is any guide, we’re in trouble. Josh Johnson weighs the pros and cons of facing grisly doom versus another round of quarantine hobbies. In "Back in Black", Lewis Black takes on anti-aging biohackers determined to outwit death, from tech mogul Bryan Johnson’s plasma experiments to TikTokers sleeping 12 hours a night and eating organ meats. Later, Sebastian Stan joins Kosta to discuss the Palme d’Or-winning film Fjord, about an immigrant family in Norway whose children are taken by authorities. Stan reflects on leaving Romania at age eight, reconnecting with his homeland, and his wide-ranging career, from Marvel blockbusters to portraying Donald Trump.
