The Daily Show

Season 31 Episode 120: October 27, 2026 - Morgana Robinson

Obama mocked Trump’s White House renovations, prompting conservative media to leap to the defense of… The Cheesecake Factory. Jordan Klepper breaks down the latest midterm headlines and checks in with a particularly seafaring John Hodgman for updates on Maine’s Senate race. With Election Day approaching, Desi Lydic examines the growing influence of political influencers, as candidates trade policy talk for viral content and increasingly rely on social media stars to reach voters. Amid reports of campaigns quietly paying influencers, Desi reminds viewers to think twice before taking political advice from a sponsored source. Later, BAFTA-winning comedian and actress Morgana Robinson joins Klepper to discuss her supporting role in the new film, "Ali G: Who Iz I", staying in character through long shoots, pulling off the film’s outrageous antics, and navigating the audition process. Plus, Klepper picks up some decidedly NSFW British slang.
