Season 31 Episode 99: September 10, 2026 - Andrew Garfield

Trump's Republican Midterm Convention flops with low turnout, empty promises, and plenty of weirdness. Michael Kosta covers Trump's promised $5,000 "dividends" if the GOP wins Congress, his roast of Texas Senate candidate Ken Paxton, and a comically oversized gavel. Desi Lydic tries to hype the convention, while Troy Iwata rounds up international absurdities: British kids queue for a Titanic-themed slide, an Italian man promotes a fake ancient theater, and Hitler's birthplace becomes a police station. Andrew Garfield joins Kosta to discuss "The Uprising," parallels between the 1381 peasant revolt and today's politics, acting as an empathy machine—even when playing Sam Altman—and lessons young men can take from Carlos Alcaraz's graceful U.S. Open loss.
