Season 3 Episode 2: A Damn Great Lump Of Iron

Mogul wants a new supertanker built quickly and for no more than seven million pounds. Alec Stewart leans on Lord Ravenscar, owner of the yard, who threatens to shut the yard rather than take a loss, while on Tyneside Peter Thornton puts the figures to union official Arthur Rogers. With the shop stewards divided over a strike, the union turns to Sam Jardine, now a local MP and in poor health.
